I am going to buy mercedes c 230 in usa, how does it work?

i don't know the procedure in usa, i am living in turkey, first about the prices, i looked official mercedes web site its' price; MSRP: $30,425 Does the price include taxes? How much does it cost to me totaly(taxes, other fees. etc...) and i am going to use the car in turkey, how can i bring the car to turkey? and how much does shipping cost? http://www.mbusa.com (request a quote)|||You would probably be saving a lot of money if you bought the Mercedes in Germany rather than the US. I was stationed in Germany for a few years and the Mercedes and BMW's there were significantly lower in price (5,000-10,000 euros cheaper). You would also save alot of money in shipping. The US and Europe have different emission standards and therefore gear their cars to those specs for that country. In other words, it may cost you about $5,000 just to convert a Mercedes in the US to European specs. Also, unless the Mercedes company allows a newly purchased car free shipping oversees (it may, ask about it) you are going to pay between $1,500-5,000 to get it shipped on a commercial overseas carrier. If you bought the car in Germany, you would avoid the shipping and specs change charges altogether, not to mention a lower cost for the car overall. Since the Germans manufacture Mercedes, it will be a lot cheaper in the end.|||You negotiate the price with the dealer. Most Benz dealers will work with you. Taxes are extra -- typically 3% - 7% of the agreed price and vary from state to state. Title and registration fees typically run about $100 or so, but that varies from state to state as well.

Ocean freight on a ro-ro should run about $800 - $1,500 depending upon the ports involved. Add inland transportation to that if you don't drop and pick up at the port. And another $200 - $500 for marine insurance.
