How much will I get if the company buys back my car?

My boyfriend paid 40 thousand dollers in 2005 for a c230 komressor mercedes benz and since then its been nothing but problems axels been changed ,gaskets all the time need changing an to top it off it broke down at 700 miles . so we filed a complaint with mbusa and after 3 weeks they have told us they will buy the car back but they havent said for how much money they would buy it back for in opther words were doing a (buyback) ...how much we will get do you think ?? do you think we will get what we paid for the car 40 g|||No way. You will get current market value (if you are lucky) minus mileage and wear.|||No, they will deduct for mileage and wear and tear. It's a 4 year old car.
