i have a one of those boats. Assuming yours is a jet drive they are pretty good for someone learning how to run a boat. As long as the bottom is sand you can hit the bottom without doing to much damage to the boat. But with the Jet Drive be careful not to run over sea weed and especially not rope because it will get caught in the jet. IF stuff does get stuck you have to try and put the boat in reverse and floor it then put in forward a floor it. If the stuff doesn't come out you will either have to jump in the water to clear it out or bring the boat up on land to clear the prop. Have fun, its a really fun boat because you can go into shallow water than outboards cant even go near.
