I was just given a whaler for free. From what i have found there are two generations of my boat, a seventies version and an eighties version. How do you tell the difference between the two. Is there any physical differences?What generation Boston Whaler Squall do i have?
The Squall is considered a boat, thus it has a HIN that should be molded into the upper-right connor of the stern. The last few digits are the month and year. I had a early 70's boat that didn't have the HIN molded in. That started in '74 but if it's an 80's boat it would be the "new model". No number.....old style.
