How can I save money for my car in two years?

My 16th birthday is in about 2 years (a little less but only by like 21 days) and I really want a Mercedes badly. I want either an S550 or a Convertable CLK350 Cabriolet. They're really cute :) and I want a nice car, cause I've been excited to drive and that would be really cute.

My question is I would have to pay $4432.50 for the convertable%26amp;%26amp; $6900 for the S550.

How could I possible get that much money before my 16th birthday? Saving tips? Babysitting tips? Thanks :D

Here are my pretty babys :)

I want em in black :D|||I don't know who is giving all these people thumbs down. If you want one of those cars, you ARE gonna have to save your money. If I were you, I'd save all my money. Give it to your parent or open a bank account. Only take out money of you absolutely need it. Around where I live, places like Zaxby's and Firehouse Subs hire people at 14. There are only a few places that do. I, personally, am getting a summer job at Zaxby's. It's an income, and it's better than what I'm getting now. So you could look around and see if there are any places that hire at fourteen. If not, do odd jobs like babysitting, mowing lawns over the summer, walking people's dogs, a newspaper route, washing neighbors' cars, etc.

Hope this helps.

BTW..I know how you feel about wanting a really nice car. Odds are, those cars are still gonna be pretty expensive in two years. Just a suggestion, but why don't you find a similar car that is a few years older than the S550 or Convertable CLK350?|||lol look at the suggested retail on the webisites.. those cars cost a LOT more than $4432.50 and $6900 .. unless you have a college degree, you're not going to earn enough to buy those cars in 2 years.

not good cars for a learner either.. chances are you will have a wreck.. new driver's make mistakes, it happens.. that will be quite costly.. even with insurance. Insurance only covers the blue book value of a car.. new cars decrease in value quickly.. the minute you drive it off the dealer's lot it decreases in value.

The insurance for those cars will be thru the roof... expecially for a teenage driver.

Instead of looking for expensive and flashy, why not look for something affordable and safe? You can still find a nice car that would be more suitable for a teenage driver.. instead of a car that's suitable for someone with a PHD.

Here's some suggested vehicles for teens that are under $10,000

As for earning money.. you will have to work hard and save each penny you earn to get enough to buy a car.. baby sit, have a garage sale, pet sit, walk dogs, yard work (mow lawns, weed, mulch, rake, shovel snow), assist elderly/disabled with household chores, wash cars.

Put everything you earn into a bank acct so it can draw interest.|||If you get money for your birthday, Chirstmas, Chores ETC ETC use 1/3 of it for spending money and save the rest. Put it in an envelope and giveit to your mom or dad so you know you won't spend it.

Try and get jobs around your neighborhood, babysitting, mowing, walking dogs ETC ETC.

Once your 15 you might be able to get a real job at liek Mcdonalds or somethign in the summer and on weekends.

Good Luck!!|||put every penny u get in the bank
